The Andersons’ Research Department was established in 1990, originally as a means to keep the Andersons’ consultancy team fully briefed on an extensive range of business issues and, in particular, the ever-changing Common Agricultural Policy.

Under the leadership and expertise of Francis Mordaunt, the Department has subsequently grown into one of the leading providers of business information, interpretation and advice for U.K. agriculture and horticulture, with a team of five based at Andersons’ Melton Mowbray offices.

The Research Team works with both Andersons’ consultants and a wide range of businesses and organisations, giving it a unique insight into the issues faced by farmers and the industry alike. With extensive knowledge and contacts at all levels, Andersons’ Research has an unrivalled understanding of the changes that are affecting agriculture and horticulture.

Agro Business Consultants (ABC) Ltd is a company wholly owned by The Andersons Centre providing “Professional Update”- a regular briefing service to directors, managers and professionals involved with the industry.

The “Agribrief Service” is a tailored service for those organisations with more specific requirements, incorporating bespoke briefings and advice.
